  • "I could make you so beautiful, much much more beautiful. Wouldn't you like that, to be ethereal? It'd only hurt for a moment but I promise I'll even hold your hand during the process."

A serial killer who believes he's beautifying victims through polyrhythmic vivisection while dancing in a duet to the beat of their hearts. He tries to make its victims "beautiful" by removing or adding parts of their body with surgical precision. He is the embodiment of the Mastery Over Chaos triad due to mastering these particular three bindings and using anatomical self-taught knowledge to make incredibly sharp cuts. He becomes one of the most influential figures in using Crystal for high surgical tools after Cadmus Tacet uncovers the "trove", such as needles and a variety of surgical scissors, through a twisted legend of disfiguring the victims and surgically replacing organs.

He is one of the most feared figures of all of the Medieval Ages, and has the ability of using Polyrhythms by combining several techniques of precision cutting through Cindergale / Luminance jets focused through his signature Stainless Scalpel. It's a very twisted figure that tends to use whistling to attract his victims and has a charming personality to make sure no one ever makes it out alive.

Character Details

  • His logs are all filled with a theatrical gruesome interpretation of the actions. Cadmus Tacet had to be very precise about narrowing on what he was referring to as most of his work was characterized by his own sadistic prose and "beauty" on detailing how organs moved and work. He used to detail three particular acts for most of the details. Act I on his luring and "falling in love" process. Act II being the actual performance of his "duet" and where he details the way in which organs function. Act III as the closure and sometimes the critique which represent the aftermath documentation of the final quality of the sculptures, he has a label for "withered away" to express frustration at this stage of his records. Most of the details are inspired by Da Vinci's real anatomy logs in Windsor Castle but with a theatrical depth.
  • Most of his work relied on a ritual of dancing, he used the very beats and pulses of the open organs during the beautification vivisection he was conduction to provide the structure he would match with polyrhythms. Due to this, he saw most of the "dances" as intimacy, as the victim was providing the lead on which he worked. This is the very reason he is obsessed with organs, they are keys to understanding the "symphony only he can hear" with the polyrhythm layering.
  • There are no recorded survivors, he was a master at isolating victims before luring them in, and disappearing from the records. He was chaotic and volatile in the areas he operated, eventually returning with no seeming pattern which is the reason why Cadmus Tacet had such a hard time tracking him. The triangulation however, proved that this erratic movement wasn't random but rather it matched the polyrhythms that he was trying to make on Cycles, if you isolated the pattern of 1:3, 3:2, 5:3, you could predict where he was heading next, and the total sum of his cases over 21 victims would create a pattern of one giant star. The very center of that star was the location of his treasure trove.
  • He is one of the very first Spellweavers to fully embrace polyrhythms as both a way of life, of defining his work, and of matching the pulsing organs of his defiled victims. A lot of his work details the rhythmic entrainment he tried to instill during his torture.
  • He developed strong magic of Strand and Resonance through Magical Relic to isolate tissue or work with exposed organs so that the victim wouldn't pass out from the sheer shock of what he had been doing. He constantly forced the victims to participate in the dance by having them repeat numbers or phrases to keep their mental focus to prevent them from "withering" which is what he referred to as dying.
  • Moreover, he had to keep the victim participating as well from both fear and the threat of death because he needed to bypass Signal Loss. By having the victim harmonize as well he saw it both as a duet and also the harmony phase-locked in Consonance with his own twisted magic. This is why it was so important for him to match rhythms with the victim's Soul-Key and have them participate. When he couldn't he threatened physical pain to coerce the victim through fear until they were complicit in their own artwork.
  • He often left his own logs and sometimes disembodied sculptures out in the open in the hopes that people find and appreciate his work. This is how most of his Legends came to be after being so elusive. He was a shadow in his "active hunt" but he wanted recognition for his art after he was done with his sculptures.
  • He is, in the end, a Reality Bender who forces the world to conform to his music. And the most terrifying part, the part that makes him such an elusive killer, is that he is erratic because no one can hear his song. It is only until you listen closely, if you follow the polyrhythms of his madness, that you can come to almost hear the Delusional song he hears. In that moment of understanding, you are already lost because you've admitted that his song could be music. And that's precisely what the beautifier wants, for someone to appreciate his art and it's so rare because it can't be done by anyone with a heart.
  • Cadmus Tacet became a monster because he was able to hear his melody, he did what Syvanth wanted and that's how he passed down his legacy.
  • Even more disturbingly, Syvanth wasn't a complete lunatic, the fixation he had with polyrhythms and his "invisible" symphony were actually a geometry pattern mirroring true Auric Geometry. He figured out the Resonance structure that was building an entire expanse. This is precisely why Cadmus Tacet was able to draw the map star, Syvanth was actually after advanced mathematics in a way that only his mind could comprehend which presses a hard question about the nature of his life: What if he was born in later Ages? Would he be an advanced mathematician that made a breakthrough by pursuing the Auric Geometry if he was given the option? Even the Auric Aria baffles at the irony of his situation, she admits that for the whole medieval Ages, and up to the Age of Enlightenment, Syvanth was the closest ever Humanity got to mapping a real principle of how she structured the Known Universe and Arcanoria.
  • He possesses a unique set of Magical Relic that allows him to abuse the effect of Sympathetic Vibration to "tune" their victims to his own Spellweaving, effectively sharing the cost of the Essence Sacrifice and using their own Emotional Authenticity to feelings like fear or pain. This is a deep twisted version of the original purpose of the Magical Relic he has which is a ring interlocked to sharing burdens, and a set of stasis balls that he uses to maintain the victim alive through Strand Pools. If a victim is too overrun by emotion, he tends to try to comfort them through lullabies and soft physical touch of their cheeks as comfort to try to short circuit the emotion through the ring and attune again: "My dear, I am here for you, please don't cry. Let's continue the melody together, I'll promise to be gentler if you stay strong for me."
