Spellweaving can't manifest objects too far away from the caster as they originate from the Soul Leitmotif, and whenever there is a long-range spell, it requires time and preparation to first create temporary Stable Harmonic Channels. If a spell suffers too much from Signal Loss they will lose their power and potency.
While Signal Loss exists from even a centimeter of separation from the Soul Leitmotif, the real issue of the dampening effect of Signal Loss begins at a range of 3 meters. Usually, Spellweavers tend to bypass this issue by channeling the spells directly from themselves and then throwing them or by using clever tricks with Void to bend the effective space. Likewise, Resonance can serve as anchor for decreasing the cast time of any Spellweaving if it is within the carrier wave range.
A few other tricks include using Flux to leave a trail beneath the spells as pre-made Stable Harmonic Channels. Finally, the interference of living creatures and their own Resonance makes impossible to create or cast instant objects within them. The conflicting sound of their own Soul-Key overrides most common Spellweaving unless amplified by enough Essence Sacrifice to bypass the destructive interference of a unique Fundamental Frequency. However, even then it's more of a gamble sucker punch than an actual practice because using that same excess Essence Sacrifice could create a spell powerful enough that is more effective at close combat than simply trying to manifest objects inside the existing target.
Conversely, this concept of interference between objects with a Fundamental Frequency makes also harder to heal internal wounds through Strand magic, as the healing spell has to practically bypass the same destructive interference from the Soul-Key. It is much easier to heal an external wound than an internal one as the latter requires a way to access the body with external properties, such as Void-powered Cindergale to act as purifying fire that burns through direct skin contact.
Another clever way to avoid Signal Loss depends entirely on understanding how the mechanics of the Known Universe function. As matter is just crystalized vibration from Consciousness, a way to establish Stable Harmonic Channels can be Consensual Anchoring. This concept essentially refers to deceiving the target that the spell is still "real" effectively using the target's Consciousness as Resonance Anchors to increase its potency and effective range. This is a basic principle of Illusory magic, and it can release the burden of complexity on the Spellweaver.
