  • "Don't call me Lord, Daedalus. Out of the two, you're the vision that allowed this spire to rise from crumbling dust. If It wasn't because of your intellect, I would've died long ago in a nameless tomb forgotten to time." - Aurelian, the Mythical Virtuoso of Resonance."

The Mythical Virtuoso of Crystal who conquered the vast unknown of the Great Expanse, and cleared the vast areas of Atonalis alongside Aurelian to create the cradle of Hollowmarch. Originally, an demi human slave that lived in indentured servitude meant to die in an execution for transgression to his lord.

The story of Daedalus begins as sold into servitude, where he was deeply Jealous of everyone who had a better life than him. He was a brilliant inventor that was forced into labor until he met a fellow orphan who he named Aurelian. He was saved by him on the trial of execution fleeing into exile into the Great Expanse.

He was dependent on Daedalus after his emancipation and both pushed to create a better world born of Piety that eventually became Hollowmarch as the only Major Settlement of Humanity and Demi Humans.

Daedalus continued the legacy of Aurelian after his death during the Great Plague and was the teacher of Luminaire by the later half of Ages II. He ultimately died of old age when he reached 220 years old.

He was the main warden, inventor, and architect of Hollowmarch, the Auric Forge he left was the core economic and military center of Hollowmarch that developed the legendary weapons of Golden Arcs and the standardized Auric Bells of the Auric Order Orthodoxy.

Daedalus became the patron saint for all inventors, craftsman, and engineers. His training legacy was continued by Luminaire with her development of refined Resonance Boxes that became a cornerstone of advanced Spellweaving.

"Why chase something when you can just choose it? Be the law of assumption, Aurelian. The amount of good things in your life depends on your ability to notice them." - Daedalus on Aurelian's theological crisis.

"You are your own limiting factor, if you don't think it is possible, then you're never going to get it. It doesn't matter who thinks it is possible, your mentors, your friends, your fathers, even your own bloodline. What only matters is: Do you think it is possible? Because only you know your potential and you know what it will take if you're willing to perform. So I repeat, Aurelian. IS IT POSSIBLE?"

_"You have to expect great things from yourself before you can achieve them. Use your impossibly large intellect to see what no one else can. I once learned that the only way to prove the world wrong by building something it cannot deny." - Daedalus to the young Luminaire when she was crying due to failing expectations.

"I've come to realize through impossible hardship that no one is separate from the reality they want. You're the reason it exists in the first place."

"A slave to meaning holds a whip just so he can acts like he owns a slave bought by meaning. The truth is we all are slaves to something, and who "isn't" is crushed by the Weight of Purpose and by those who have enslaved themselves to one to make history. Truly a tragedy where only the one free of nothing is the one most indebted."

"No one is more irrevocably enslaved than those who falsely believe themselves to be free."
