Auric Order

"Only because of the Auric Aria we are given the depth of joy and suffering, of meaning in salvation. We can only know her love truly real because she's suffered with us and for us. Cruelty and meaning are woven from the same thread."

Also known as the Auric Church is the institutional faith after the First Reset that establishes the Auric Aria as the deity of Humanity, and creator of the Known Universe.

In the classical orthodoxy, it also poses the Auric Aria as The One True God, and is in direct contrast with the Chorus Pillar in the nature of Humanity's spirit and the source of magical power, study of the esoteric, and understanding of divine will. The classical orthodoxy further pushes the narrative through the Auric Mythos of Creation, and the concept of Perfect Reflection to justify the architecture of order and Mastery Over Chaos above all else.

Everything has meaning and purpose within the Auric Aria's divine plan: "To suffer is to endure faithfully where suffering is the price of meaning."

The Auric Order establishes Theological Virtues as tenets to faith that directly map the Auric Heptacode:

  • Piety: Faith as fidelity to self and understanding of the divine through the lens of the individual, it is the Theological Virtue of Resonance.
  • Revelation: Perception of reality and seeking of truth as the divine mechanisms of the cosmos and of theodicy itself, it is the Theological Virtue of Luminance. The universe is both intelligible and beautiful, understanding and feeling are the same act, to know a thing is to resonate with it.
  • Contrition: Honest self-offering as means to alter reality, it is the Theological Virtue of Flux.
  • Sacrifice: The giving of self to moral and spiritual duty, to use the acceptance of maintenance in the meaning of struggle to weave meaning. it is the Theological Virtue of Void.
  • Contemplation: Undivided presence in the moment of truth, of act, of will, and duty, it is the Theological Virtue of Cindergale.
  • Hope: Confidence in the unseen and will of divine purpose, structure, and obligation through the convergence of the self as pinnacle of action, it is the Theological Virtue of Crystal.
  • Communion: Relationship as memory to create value in legacy and standing across time while harmonizing from Consonance of the self to others, it is the Theological Virtue of Strand.

These Theological Virtues argue that the Triadic Virtues of Spellcraft comes from achieving an state of being. It is the interior life, faith, hope, love, contrition, contemplation, not solely as a private matter but also the very substance of order and power. To grow in virtue is to grow in magical potency. To fall into sin is to lose access to reality's fundamental forces and to invite chaos, evil, demons and Dissonance. The ultimate sins are known as the Seven Weights, and invite to rigorous reflection of the divine geometry of the cosmos and the Piety in oneself to leave the burden of these and achieve transcendence through Lyrical Fragments.

The interpretations of the Auric Order depend on the tenets of each individual religion practicing the adoration of the Auric Aria. However, most of them share the Auric Mythos of Creation, and propose an unbearable nature of revelation. This is primarily due to the existence of Scorching Truths which are theological crises as much as they are memetic hazards to order itself.

The Ages of Reformation After the Second Reset

The reformation formally begins with the end of the Second Reset but only takes shape on Ages VIII onwards. In her desperation, the Auric Aria conjured the last tetter of her own Consciousness to Civilization to explain the The Truth of Arcanoria before Arcanoria unraveled back to Primal White Noise in an attempt to change the future.

This happens particularly during Ages VIII, with extensive work in the Age of Auric Radiance and the Age of Enlightenment, brings a new synthesis of a reformed Auric Order born from this necessity of order in chaos that is divorced from divine neglect.

Likewise, this also extends to the necessity of Scorching Truths, in some variations of the Auric Order religions, particularly on those founded after the The Truth of Arcanoria, they see the theological implication that theology is not an optional comfort and Scorching Truths are sacred knowledge about the fundamental requirement of participation in existence. This event causes the great schism between the classical orthodoxy of the Auric Order on the nature of The Truth of Arcanoria: It becomes a debate of those who deny it as dangerous knowledge for the sake of security and order vs those who accept it as divine and sacred revelation to commune with the Auric Aria.

In the latter framework, it is necessary to make a vow to face the revelation as sacred in Consonance about the creator, of oneself, and the nature of suffering to prevent losing the access to magic itself, and that order itself is a mandate from the very Weight of Flaw that crushed the creator reframing it as the sacred lesson:

"If the Auric Aria's flaws are the true source of meaning, is faith in perfection a weakness?"

"The Auric Aria is unimaginably intelligent and creative, so much so that the very structure she made is immune to her own weaving without unravelling the very fabric of reality. If she had done a universe without the Seven Weights, then it would be as sterile and dead as she hadn't created at all. And that's why even if she's not all-powerful in her precision; it the friction of existence what shapes purpose. She is doing her best in creating every layer that allows a Fragment of Meaning, even if her best sometimes fails, this suffering is what allows all acts of love, devotion, courage, and sacrifice to surpass the Weight of Purpose. Thus, It is only through our hand and duty, in Consonance and Piety, that establish the tenets of the relationship of Humanity and the Sovereign. And in which we will, together in communion, forge our own destiny amidst the sea of relentless, encroaching chaos by bathing in the light of the Brightest Star."

Moreover, in Fanatical versions of the Auric Order, and the Aureus Pillar, they even recognize and embody the principle of communion in divine limitation as a core driver for action. These become the principle of Perfect Reflection to the upmost maximum, if it was in the Auric Aria's will to subdue the chaos to her will, then it is a divine mandate for Humanity to subdue anything for control, even if it causes imperfect friction it is justified by Humanity's spirit. This is the reason why the second and third Age of Humanity deal with such an anthropocentric view.
