Thin sheets of vibrant Crystal with a pulsing cyan to green hues that have tactile infinite recursive fractals within, they were made during the Eighth Cycle on the moment the liberation of Aetherlight touched the skies during The Auric Aria's Suicide. These flexible thin sheets are capable of creating structured layers of captured emotion and sound.
Usually they are found in the highest peaks of every mountain as deposits of sheets where Vibrational Density is at its highest, they're found in every Sacred Site.
Most commonly, they're used in the manufacturing of Resonance Boxes to serve as speakers and recorders of a specific sound or composition while in Mirrorbox Trap they serve as means to capture light, primarily Aetherlight.
Unique Properties
Much like Resonance Boxes, Sky Glass has a visual cue that indicates whether it contains trapped Resonance, clear cyan to green if it's vacant while it maintains the pink refraction of Crystal when it has vibration within it.
Theologians of the Auric Order argue about the presence and property of this material as it is both beautiful, mathematically perfect, and present in every Sacred Site. This arises the question: "Are the deposit locations of Sky Glass Sacred Sites because the grace of the Auric Aria fell upon them, or did the Sky Glass fell in them because these points are of sacred and immense Vibrational Density?"
Sky Glass alongside Aetherlight are the most divine materials for the Auric Order.
The process of unpairing sound within a sheet of Sky Glass requires applying inverse cancellation to it with a high amount of Sufficient Precision and Key of Attunement. This is usually a test for Resonance Spellweavers to attain a level of master over Resonance, and it was developed during Ages II by the Fractal Prodigy Luminaire who acquired her Legend Title due to her mastery over Sky Glass, and the contributions that led to The Principles of Magic, and understanding of Auric Geometry and the nature of its presence in Sky Glass.
