Such creates Harmonic Entanglement that couples all of the disparate vibrations across impossible distances, binding thought to form and delimiting probability and feasibility as sympathetic musical Resonance.
Unlike the physicality of the lower atmospheric layers that separate by material, mortal properties, the Great Harmonic Loom stratifies by its Grand Thread Rings, much as tectonic plates shift, so do these rings realign under Cosmic Motion. Where Coherence runs deep, magic flows easily through the Stable Harmonic Channels. Where it fractures, it produces Discordant Interference — chaotic vibrations that rend the interwoven strings and contaminate spells with Primal White Noise, causing them to fail, backfire, or manifest unpredictably. Threading through this spectral membrane, the Leylines function as harmonic conduits — channels where Vibrational Density reaches its peak, allowing magical effects to propagate across vast distances with minimal Vibrational Decay. These Symphonic Veins in turn carry not wind or water, but Coherence itself encoded in discrete information packages called Frequency Harmonics, and act as the preferential pathways for spellcraft governed by The Principles of Magic.

The whole process of casting magic behaves like a full audio signal chain and requires the following steps:
- Resonance as the vibration of a Fundamental Frequency to create a signal. This raw carrier wave is a pure tone that becomes the baseband signal.
- A Spellweaving interface that acts as a transducer of the internal psychophysical vibration. It is the phase that adds modulation as a synthesis chain that sculpts the spell, adding texture and complexity to the original Resonance by imbuing the characteristics of Spellweaving, like potency, effect, power, area, and intent through Mastery Over Chaos and Potential of Creation. - The Magical Catalyst uses constructive interference between the Primary Instrument and the internal Spellweaver's Resonance to amplify amplitude sharply with at the right moment of a spell's application.
- The spike is what actually "plucks" the Great Harmonic Loom threads, akin to a transient hitting a threshold in a nonlinear system and flipping it to a new state through the resonant medium. It only flips into a new macro-state when the local energy at the right frequency crosses the Spellweaving threshold.
Thus, the Magical Catalyst provides that final gain and transient, and Music as Catalyst tends to be the best medium for a Magical Catalyst because it synchronizes the external sound / vibration of the Spellweaver's Primary Instrument to the spell's internal phase-lock in Rhythmic Entrainment.
