One of the three bindings in Mastery Over Chaos of the Triadic Virtues of Spellcraft. Absolute Certainty is the sixth auric thread of the Auric Heptacode and sixth binding in The Principles of Magic. Its principle states that any Spellweaving requires vivid mental forging, an unshakeable vision of what must come to pass. Nothing steps into existence without first taking shape within the mind's eye. A vision unseen cannot bloom. Thus, Spellweaving. is bound to the rule that only if it can be visualized can it exist. What you can't imagine can't come to be.
At the moment of the Original Ripple, The First Overtone emerged as formless chaos in the vivid sea of proto consciousness. However, the Auric Aria deliberate act of creation founded the Known Universe. She came to this realization after weaving the other bindings, she came to realize that Consciousness could shape chaos into crystalized vibration. It collapsed into discrete, crystalline packets, each pulse resolved into precise definition. The Auric Aria, inspired by this collapse of infinite possibility into singular form, encoded it into the Auric Heptacode as the principle of manifestation — the law that all creation requires a deliberate vision, certainty of form before it exists. When doubt clouds the mind's eye, possibility remains theoretical; in conviction, matter shapes as crystalized vibration.
Absolute Certainty, then, is the discipline of forging unwavering will and vision —ensuring the mind's eye sees the Spellweaving's resolution with such perfect clarity that doubt can't penetrate, fragmentation can't scatter, and the weave crystallizes into inevitable form. Like crystal takes shapeless earth and refracts light into perfect geometric certainty, and prisms split chaos into ordered spectrum, authentic conviction follows its natural course from inner vision into external reality.
The Principle of Reality Crystallization
Magic in Arcanoria manifests when a Spellweaver's unwavering conviction creates a collapse of probability in Superposed Resonance through their Fundamental Frequency, forcing infinite possibility into singular, resolved form of Consonance. The vividness, clarity, and certainty of visualization determine the magnitude of this collapsing force — crystal-clear vision of inevitable outcome creates such steep probability that manifestation becomes unstoppable.
Constraint: Strength and nature of a spell rise with the profundity and clarity of the Spellweaver's vivid mental rehearsal. Potency is amplified by unwavering visualization, absolute conviction in inevitable outcome, and enhances the boundaries of manifestation depending on the truthfulness of believing the spell will manifest. Dampened by doubt, overthinking, insecurity, or fragmented vision.
Genuine conviction functions as high-probability collapse—when the Spellweaver's visualization remains locked upon their intended outcome with unbreakable certainty, manifestation can model Superposed Resonance efficiently into the Great Harmonic Loom, creating clean Consonance and Coherence. Reality then crystallizes with inevitable force, its effects resolving with geometric precision and adapting organically to circumstance like light refracting through faceted crystal.
Conversely, fractured or wavering conviction acts as probability scattering. When the Spellweaver allows doubt to cloud their vision, second-guesses their mental forging, or fails to commit fully to the spell's inevitable manifestation before casting, the energy disperses as Superposed Resonance can't find a clear path towards Coherence and fragments then into Discordant Interference on matter that vibrates with hesitation and fear.
The Absolute Certainty binding is greatly demanding of imagination and will power. It requires unshakeable faith — the willingness to see with perfect clarity, maintain that vision without wavering doubt, and believe with absolute conviction that what has been visualized will inevitably come to pass.
